Overview
firmView offers to the financial services community information
processing services in areas outside its clients' core business -
initially in the area of controlling, accounting and reporting of soft
dollar related information. We offer outsourced solutions for the
institutional brokerage business that reduce administrative costs,
streamline operations and provide peace of mind for payment of soft
dollar commitments.
How firmView Works
As intermediary, firmView provides services for the soft-dollar
institutional agency broker/dealer (Broker), the investment manager
(Manager) and soft-dollar service provider (Service Provider). The
Company seeks to become the principal party to whom these clients will
outsource non-core clerical processes, such as the payment of services.
firmView Services
firmView offers a complete, end to end service package including:
- Set up and recording of brokers' service commitments
with service providers and investment managers.
- Application of a workflow process for all invoices
received, per commitment.
- Invoice data entry, including optical scanning of
invoices.
- Invoice payment from broker's designated banking
accounts (as requested).
- Online reports categorized by the service providers
to help create the classification of their services according to
suggested SEC guidelines as well as SIC codes (where applicable).
- Information fed-back to broker's internal systems
through XML data exchange, eliminating manual labor.
- Pre-formatted reports that are consolidated, easy to
read/understand, and provide all participants involved in the
transaction loop with the same up to the minute information.
- Cash-flow management services that help schedule
future payments by the broker thus providing information to the
relevant service provider concerning their future receivables.
With firmView, each participant in the soft-dollar "triangle" is able
to work comfortably together, knowing that the payment system is
working efficiently without costly administrative intervention.
Everyone gets back to the work they should be doing, leaving the
soft-dollar servicing details to firmView.
